Ava's Crush is a black currant forward wine, with cherry candy, and bittersweet chocolate flavors. Lip smacking tannins, and a full mouth feel to round off the medium acidity and deep red color. Aged in once and twice filled barrels for light barrel notes. Comprised of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon from Rattlesnake Hills (Portteus Vineyards) and 20% Merlot from Columbia Valley (Burgess Vineyards).
This wine goes great with pizza or your favorite Italian dish.
Best if the wine is decanted for 30 minutes (or more) at this young age.
